The latest in Ian Allan Publishing's 'Power' series features perhaps the most popular and successful GWR class of all -the powerful four-cylindered 'King' 4-6-0s. The book is in the 'Oxford Publishing Company' imprint and follows the now time-honoured format of three pages devoted to each member of the class, with a brief 'pen-picture' showing the main dates of construction, allocation and withdrawal etc, along with total mileage. There is also a 13-page introductory chapter, which is enhanced by some super old photos from the Great Western Trust's collection.
