Track work at EOR's North Weald

The Epping Ongar Railway, closed for upgrading, has lifted the track through North Weald station and reduced the formation to its original height. Salvaged ballast is being cleaned for relaying. The North Weald station building has been receivingrnattention with a 1950s addition now demolished and the interior being refurbished.rnThe westbound platform is being repaired and extended, using original pre-cast components as patterns to ensure uniformity with its 1950s prefabricated appearance.
