The Mid-Hants Railway was granted planning approval on January 21 for major development at Ropley station, including a permanent 10 1/4 in gauge line.rnThis will be about a quarter of a mile long with completion due within two years.rnA short section of track has been operated previously in the station car park (RM Jan 2009, p80).
