Setback clouds five-year vision

Cancellation of the NRM+ project (see story above) came just a couple of weeks after the museum released the contents of a 'five year-plus vision' document. Penned by NRM director Steve Davies and issued to York and Shildon staff, it identifies the railway museum at Omiya, Tokyo, as "probably the premier railway museum in the world". Mr Davies outlines his thinking on how the NRM can achieve national and international acclaim and win that status for itself.
