City of Truro to stay on the Ruddington line until May

Following the successful operation of No. 37'17 City of Truro working GCR (Nottingham)'Santa'trains (RM March), appearances of the NRM-owned icon at the Nottingham Transport Heritage Centre have been extended. After going to Loughborough for the GCR's January 28-30 'Winter Gala', the GWR 4-4-0 returned to Ruddington to work February 19/20 and 26/27 half-term trains. It will be GCR(N) based until the end of April/early May (other than a pre-arranged appearance at the North Norfolk Railway's March 12/13'Spring Gala').
