The loan of NRM-owned LNWR G2 0-8-0 No. 49395 to East Lancashire Railway has been extended until late November 2013. The'Super D'enhances East Lancashire steam availability which is presently centred on The Princess Royal Class Locomotive Trust's 4MT 2-6-4T No. 80080 (booked until the end of 2012) and Hunslet 0-6-OST 'Austerity' HE3163/1943 {Sapper) which is also staying until the end of this year, with talks in progress concerning extending its hire.
