HS2 speed could be negated by transit time

Industry propaganda on HS2 conveniently refuses to debate the other side of the question. One matter alone is sufficient to illustrate my point. The majority of people arriving at the Birmingham terminal in Curzon Street/New Canal Street will want onward connections - from New Street station. The propaganda quotes 10 to 15 minutes for the connection, but this is wildly optimistic.
