New FR signalling in memory of Alan Pegler

Development of new signalling at the Ffestiniog Railway's Harbour station will form a memorial to the line's late president, Alan Pegler. The project includes heritage-style semaphores and a signalbox (replacing the current ground frame). Alan played a significant role in saving the FR, and the railway had been seeking a way to commemorate his life and contribution to the FR. His family suggested this project should fulfil that aspiration. An appeal aimed at raising the ￡50,000 cost has been launched.
