I have recently been taking Eurostar to Paris on a weekly basis for a variety of meetings, including the FEDECRAIL Council at Albi, near Toulouse. What saddens me is that while the speed of the train and its comfort is still the same as 10 years ago, the standard of food provided to those travelling in Standard Premier has declined markedly. In fact, the last meal I was offered was so disgusting that I had to leave it and noted that several other passengers did too.
