Little Barford to stay at CVR

Following its return to Colne Valley Railway service at the beginning of September, Hunslet 'Austerity'0-6-0STWD190 (HE3790/52) has seen much action. The CVR has run 'Thomas'weekends, followed by a Victorian schools event, which brought 1,000 Key Stage 2 children (all in costume) to the railway each day. This was the 27th year such an event has been run at the CVR. Although WD190 is now in service, Barclay 0-4-OST Little Barford (which arrived on hire in early 2012) will remain at Castle Hedingham station into 2013. CVR restarts operations with its Santa Specials from December 9.
