Reckless behaviour by a minority of enthusiasts who defy the law and trespass on Network Rail property has been condemned by a main line steam locomotive-owning group. The Princess Royal Class Locomotive Trust uploaded a 'rogues gallery'of offenders on its website, who have been photographed wandering onto NR land and, in some instances, onto running lines. In its September posting, the trust - which is responsible for No. 46233 Duchess of Sutherland and promotes its own charters under the banner of PMR Tours -says it "feels so strongly about the possible fatalities and long-term effects to the running of main line steam tours that, to protect the livelihood of those who work within the steam tour industry, the images have been posted in a small attempt to deter or prevent future idiotic actions".
