National Express abandons Nuremberg contract

AFTER months of expensive legal action National Express has decided not to sign a contract to operate services in Nuremburg. In February 2015, National Express won the contract via its German subsidiary National Express Rail GmbH to operate the S-Bahn suburban rail system around the German city from December 2018 for 12 years.
