Scotland's transport minister Humza Yousaf has announced a review as well as a £14million package of improvements on the first anniversary of the reopening of Borders Railway. With well in excess of one million passengers having used the line - actual figures were due as we closed for press -Mr Yousaf said: "Not only has the railway linked communities in the Borders and Midlothian with the wider Scottish rail network for the first time in 46 years, but the increased accessibility has breathed new life into the region, boosting tourism and employment opportunities.
