Notching up a total of 12,837 attendees and 311 exhibitors, rail#tec 2003 in Dortmund achieved a record result, demonstrating once again how significant this event is for the railway industry. Juxtaposing and interweaving a trade fair and a specialist congress, backed by numerous accompanying events focused on transport policy, has proved a highly successful approach. Thus we look forward to the next rail#tec in Dortmund - and this will be the fifth - in November 2005.
