A Glimpse Into History: The Oral History Project Features Alexander Lilly

In order to preserve and restore the rich lineage bequeathed to the RCMP since 1873, the historical section is proud to launch the legacy project and the oral history project, on behalf of Supt. J. Greg Peters, Director of Strategic Partnerships and Heritage Branch.rnChampioned by serving members and veterans of the RCMP, as well as fellow public historians, these projects will include several dimensions. The opening of the RCMP Heritage Centre in Regina was one of the key components of the legacy project, and as we segue into the second phase of development, the historical section will continue building on the oral history project. Oral history refers to recorded interviews with individuals about the past, or first-person reminiscences, offering us a glimpse into history.
