Paramarine extends Navantia's scope

Paramarine software developed by QinetiQ GRC is being used by Navantia to support the development of both new naval surface ships and submarines. It is specifically being used for stability calculations on submarines and surface ships in development such as new frigates, patrol boats and corvettes. Navantia employs more than 5,500 staff and is Spain's leading naval military technology company offering a wide range of products and services. These include the design, construction and manufacturing of hi-tech military and civil vessels, control and combat systems, the overhaul and alteration of military and civil vessels and diesel engine and turbine manufacturing. Navantia's main customer is the Spanish Navy but also has extensive overseas activity with presence in Australia, India and Venezuela.
