Classification society, Bureau Veritas, has finalised the takeover of HydrOcean, an engineering company that specialises in hydrodynamic digital simulation for the maritime industry. The purchase stands to strengthen the service provision of Bureau Veritas, adding new technologies and expertise to its range of solutions that will reduce the risks and costs of the ship design process.
