PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten developing time by consistently performing simulation from process specification to a power converter characteristic in development of a power converter semiconductor device.;SOLUTION: A characteristic of the power converter including at least two semiconductor devices constituting the power converter and constitution elements of a control system and a circuit system is simulated by using a finite element method in a process simulation part 13 on the semiconductor device and by approximating other elements by a formula model in a power converter simulation part 17. Thus, simulation from manufacture specification of the semiconductor device to the characteristic of the power converter can consistently be performed in a short time.
