IMC supports Australian sub rescue capability

IMC in Australia says it is using its engineering design and analysis skills to contribute to Australia's submarine search and rescue capability. The company was commissioned by L-3 Oceania to design an air deployable launch and recovery system (LARS) for an L-3 deployable sidescan sonar (DSSS). The system was configured to be rapidly deployable by land, sea or air and fitted to a vessel of opportunity with minimal integration.
