Storabox: a new intermodal unit for paper cargoes

The Storabox, a new container-style cargo unit developed by Swedish forest products group Stora, is specially designed to improve coordination between Sweden's rail network, North Sea traffic and Europe's inland waterways. These intermodal units, to transport Stora paper and board to markets at the heart of Europe and beyond, will be shipped from Gothenburg to Zee-brugge aboard three new ro-ro freight vessels to be chartered by the papermaker - as we reported in our April issue, page 24.
