First-ever re-gasification carrier for delivery in November

The Korean giant Daewoo (DSME) is one of three shipyards in that country that have gone all out to target lucrative contracts to build highly complex and challenging LNG carrier tonnage; the trio has, of course, been eminently successful, and today Korea is probably the world leader in construction of this type of ship. One special field that DSME has exclusively pioneered is carriers with re-gasification plant on board, and the world's first-ever ship with such equipment, is scheduled for delivery in November this year. Two more sisters will follow.
