Merged yards enter new era of productivity

In the middle of last month, the 2500TEU container ship Cap Doukato was delivered to her owner, Hartmann Schiffahrts GmbH, and immediately went on charter to Hamburg Sued. This vessel is the lead ship in the Aker Ostsee group's Baltic CS 2500 class and represents the first fruition of the merger of the Warnemuende and Wismar yards under a single ownership as well as the adoption of an integrated production programme.
