Propeller size limits challenged

I refer to your edition September 2007 and was interested to read an article by Patrick Martin entitled 'Limits to Growth' under the Safety section.rnThe writer states that propeller size has already reached its limit for single screw large container ships. He furthermore states that the efficiency of large propellers is at its maximum to absorb their high power on a restricted diameter.
