Scana signs Rolls-Royce supply agreement

Scana Industrier, through its subsidiaries Scana Steel Bjorneborg, Scana Steel Soderfors and Scana Machining, has signed a three years supply agreement with Rolls-Royce Marine, making Scana a key supplier to Rolls-Royce.The agreement includes supply of forgings for CP and FP propellers and shaft lines during 2012-2014. Scana will also provide installation of piping, liner, composite and welded cladding. The agreement covers the supply of propeller shafts and intermediate shafts for different types of vessels. The scope of work includes all machining activities beyond previous supply of forgings for Rolls-Royce.
