Four LNG-fuelled containerships for Brodosplit

Brodosplit Shipping Company has ordered four dual-fuelled container vessels from Croatian shipbuilding sister company Brodosplit, for delivery in November 2017. The 2,000 teu vessels, classed by DNV GL, will be powered by MAN engines (MAN B&W 8G50ME-C9.5GI) of 11,060kW each running on LNG and diesel. The 24,000dwt vessels will be over 184m long and 27.5m wide, with an operating speed of 18 knots.
