2012 GREEN POWER PARTNER LIST: AIR FORCE LEADS DOD

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Top 25 list of Green Power Partners ranks the Air Force number one in DOD and number two in the federal government for its purchase and on-site production of green power. In 2011, the Air Force used 265 million-kWh of renewable energy, an increase of 15 million -kWh from the previous year.
