For the "Spades and Clubs," this was a truly different mission than those we had executed before. Some were apprehensive of how the training mission would go. Historically aligned under a Naval Construction Regiment in support of the U.S. Marine Corps to build and provide sustainment, NMCB 25 was assigned to the U.S. Army's 2nd Engineer Brigade's Task Force Trailblazer with the mission to teach construction skills to Afghan soldiers.
