Challenging Chapels

Originally built as a Norman church in the 12th and 13th centuries, Jesus College Chapel is the oldest chapel in Cambridge - and predates the foundation of the College by over three centuries. The current version of the chapel, in the English Perpendicular style, dates back to the early 16th century - and in the 19th century, as part of the Gothic revival, extensive refurbishment saw the addition of new interior decoration and stained glass windows by both William Morris and Augustus Pugin.
