They were an ignorant rude family who owned the Midas Petrol Station in Brentwood over 25 years ago. The moustachioed 6 ft father was boorish and only ever said "wotcha wan", the surly Polish wife never stopped moaning about customers arriving at the most inconvenient time and the arrogant daughter always gave the impression she was too good for everything and everyone, and I can never remember her saying anything! I used to call in there on my daily trip to Wembley (64 miles round trip) to buy 2 gallons of petrol for "Five and Four Pence". (For the younger generation that means 27p!) .
