Recent Trends in Application of Corrugated Fiberboard Pallets

The mainstay material for transportation pallets has so far been wood. In recent years, how- ever, pallets made of corrugated fiberboard have found application in a wide veriety of fields. fully exploiting the features of closed-loop type materials. This report introduces recent trends in application of corrugated fiberboard pallets, with focus on trends in demand for this type of pallet, its features, and examples of recent innovations, in- cluding assembly packaging and modularization that are based on the concept of integrating a corrugated fiberboard pallet and a package.
