Ecocem have won the Green Product Award at this year's Green Awards, which were held in the RDS Concert Hall recently. This award went to Ecocem for its GGBS cement, which provides an eco-friendly solution as effective as its non-environmental equivalent.rnEcocem says it has reduced Ireland's CO_2 footprint by 1.5m tonnes since it commenced production in late 2003. Between the operations in Ireland, Holland and France, Ecocem has saved over 3 million tonnes of CO_2.
