Brintex strengthens traffic engineering show

Brintex have acquired the Road Expo series of exhibitions from Faversham House Group. Road Expo Scotland has been held annually at the Royal Highland Centre, Edinburgh for the last 20 years, while Road Expo Ireland and Civilex are held on a biennial basis in Dublin. Brintex has for many years run market-leading events serving the highways sector including the Long established Traffex exhibition, held at the NEC Birmingham, Parkex and the ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems) World and European Congress. Commenting on the purchase Brintex managing director, Malcolm Taylor said: "Brintex already organise some of the largest traffic engineering shows in the world with our biennial Traffex at the NEC, and the Inteligent Transport Systems series of exhibitions and congresses that occur annually in Europe. The addition of the two Road Expos will complement our existing programme and give us some presence in the traffic and transport sector with Scotland and Ireland.' Steve Walters, who has been involved in running Road Expo for many years has transferred across to Brintex and will continue to grow and develop the events. Steve Walters, event manager commented: "These are exciting times for Road Expo and with Brintex's resource experience and market expertise the shows are in very safe hands."
