Final 41km section of scheme completes M7/M8 motorway

As the final section of the Dublin to Cork Major Interurban Corridor (MIU), the NRA believes that this road will result in safer, faster and more reliable journey times. The benefits they identify include:1. a section in the Dublin to Limerick Major Interurban (MIU) Corridor which is intended to facilitate safer, faster and more reliable journeys between both cities;2. connects the midlands, south and midwest to Dublin, the east and the north through a high quality reliable road transport corridor;3. improved internal road transport infrastructure between and within regions;4. contributes towards competitiveness of the midlands, mid-west and south.
