ITC moves to expand U.S.duties on solar imports from China, Taiwan

Opening the door for expanded unfair trade duties on solar panels from China and Taiwan, the U.S. International Trade Commission said Friday it has deter­mined that there is a “reasonable indica­tion” that the U.S. solar industry is being materially injured by certain crystalline silicon photovoltaic products from China that allegedly are subsidized and imports from China and Taiwan that allegedly are sold in the United States at less than fair value.
