Three-weekly bin collections on the rise

Collections of black bag refuse once every three weeks will be trialled in parts of Taunton Deane in Somerset for three months from September. The trial was announced by the Somerset Waste Partnership (SWP) on 12 August and will affect 1,100 homes in Wivelis-combe and Langley Marsh near Taunton. It is one of three trials in Somerset exploring ways to boost recycling in the county under a 'Recycle More' initiative.
