A bin tipper includes a vertical support column, a cam track adjacent to theverticalsupport column, a structural member mounted to and configured to translatealong the verticalsupport column, and a gripper assembly including a gripper mount havinggripper arms mountedthereon that are configured to receive and hold a collection bin. The camtrack includes aproximal portion parallel to the vertical support column and a distal portionprovided at an anglewith respect to the vertical support column. A first end of the gripper mountis pivotallymounted to the structural member and a second end of the gripper mountincludes a cam followerextending therefrom that is configured to move within the proximal and distalportions of thecam track. The gripper assembly lifts and inverts the collection bin based ona position of thecam follower of the gripper mount within the cam track.
