NGO warning over changes to environmental justice rules

Planned changes to legal rules could hamper access to environmental justice and put the UK in continued breach of an international pact, NGOs have warned. The UK's four environmental charity coalitions (now known as Environment Links UK) and legal campaign group ClientEarth have taken their concerns over the government's attempts to tighten rules on costs protection and standing to the international body that deals with access to environmental justice.
