摘要

Back in 1986, The Guardian newspaper ran an influential television advert. It showed a skinhead running away from two people in a car towards the camera, with a voiceover saying 'An event, seen from one point of view gives one impression,' then from a different angle showed the same skinhead running away from the camera towards a man and apparently trying to pinch his briefcase from him, with the voiceover saying 'seen from another point of view, it gives quite a different impression.' The camera view then changes to a wide angle shot with the voiceover saying 'But it's only when you get the whole picture you can fully understand what's going on.' The event is then revealed to be a skinhead running towards a man in order to save his life by pushing him out of the way of a pile of falling bricks.
