Hycrete is a non-toxic admixture that waterproofs concrete and prevents the corrosion of the steel reinforcement bar, dispensing with the need for damp-proof membranes and exterior waterproofing such as wraps or clay products. Unlike older crystalline waterproofing technologies, the hydrophobic material does not erode over time, so the concrete remains stable and maintains its structural integrity.
