CREATING A SPLASH

This modern swimming pool and pavilion, designed for a private client, has been introduced to a historic setting without detracting visually and spatially from the Grade l-listed building and surrounding woodland. The scheme proved to be contentious at first, with Planning Approval requiring in-depth consultations with English Heritage, archaeological and conservation officers.rnThe scheme was designed to openly respond to the listed building situated opposite, with an opportunity to introduce new materials through a simple design.
