Hats off to Jamie Fobert (pictured above) of Jamie Fobert Architects. He recently won first prize in one of the V&A's special Friday Late events with this creation, called the Medusa hat. The noggin-warmer was picked from a fashion parade of hats designed by non-milliners.rnAstragal did a double take on reading RIBA Bookshop's 'coming soon' email. Top of the list was 'Good Practice Guide: Meditation'. Meditation for architects? Last time Astragal checked, stage 'L'was post-practical completion, not the lotus position. The title was of course 'Good Practice Guide: Mediation. But it's funnier if you swap the words around: 'Meditation isrnbecoming an increasingly popular form of alternative dispute resolution... Guiding the reader through the practicalities - this book explains how meditation can be used to ensure an effective resolution.' So swap your lawyer for a guru, close your eyes, say 'Om' and all your problems will melt away...
