Stillingfleet Road, Barnes, SW13 9AE Saturday 18 September, 10am-1pm. Patel Taylor Architects' mono-pitched building, clad in white render, picked up the RIBA Civic Trust Award this year. It is connected to an existing primary school via an interlocking low-level canopy. Aiming for a BREEAM 'excellent' rating, the architect installed a woodchip biomass boiler in the old building, and sheep's wool, sedum and solar panels elsewhere.
