The RIBA has recognised the growing quality of architecture in Wales by handing seven awards to projects across the country.Among the winners are Ray Hole Architects' Snowdon Summit Visitor Centre (AJ 16.07.09), the Skypad cancer treatment unit by ORMS (AJ 04.06.09), and Chapter Arts Centre by Ash Sakula Architects (AJ 11.03.10).rnWales, which only won two RIBA Awards in 2009, is now only behind Scotland and London in terms of the number of institute accolades won per region for 'architectural excellence'.
