Kiev-based architect Phil Hudson has submitted an outline planning application for this eye-popping temporary events space on Fish Island, Hackney Wick overlooking the London 2012 Olympic Park. Directly opposite the main stadium, the building — which will feature a giant LCD screen with hospitality and media areas - currently has two competing designs for how it looks. The first 21,746m2 rectangular scheme features a canal-side nightclub and see-through media screen. The second, wackier, 24,229m2 structure, dubbed 'TV Games' by its architect (pictured below), features a giant sofa and television complete with larger than-life beer can. Hudson explained: 'We have [created] a foil to the frenetic, physical prowess of the [Olympics].
