Studio AR duo Alex Scott-Whitby and Rory Pennant-Rea have landed some unusual perks by virtue of practising from a disused church spire in the City of London. Located in the bell tower of Hawksmoor's St Mary Woolnoth, the studio has a trap door offering an unparalleled 'warts and all'view of OMA's New Court headquarters for the Rothschild bank. Access is forbidden on City ceremonial days when police allegedly operate a 'shoot to kill' policy with regards to unauthorised persons on rooftops.
