The abuse of the title 'architect' by non-architects is something that small practitioners are more acutely aware of as it affects us the most. The core problem seems to be online advertising - just do a search for 'architect' in Google and count the number of non-architects that come up! I recently took out some Google ads and challenged them over why a surveyors advert was appearing before mine.
