Cooperative Group's new office, the largest of its kind in Manchester, brings 3,500 staff under one roof. The brief was to create a building which is adaptable and flexible in its operation, highly efficient in its consumption of resources, economically viable and replicable. The structure and M&E systems allow occupiers to reorganise and subdivide accommodation as needs change, so the building avoids excessive refit costs.
