Several months after having graduated, part of me is not surprised to be no closer to finding a Part 1 placement, especially when I receive emails informing me that only six candidates out of 400 have been shortlisted for interview. I have lost track of the number of jobs I have applied for and how many companies I have contacted speculatively.
