When I speak with readers and contributors - which include manufacturers as well as architects - I am often heartened by their positive view of AJ Specification. I have to admit, however, I sometimes think it would be good if the magazine could act as a medium for more extensive and protracted dialogue and interaction. Along with continually improving the content, format and, in the broadest sense of the word, the style of AJ Specification, and providing online forums and webinars, we believe that events where readers and contributors can meet face to face are vital. For this reason, we are planning a series of events that will take place a few days after the magazine is published - welcome to AJ Specification Live. These events will comprise talks, complete with slides, by architects and other construction professionals that relate to the theme of the current magazine, followed by formal and informal discussion.
