Cladding and curtain walling is an important element of any building project because of its key function -the separation of the external and internal environments - and its aesthetic impact on the building design. Add to that functionality, environmental, maintenance, cost, risk, procurement and innovation aspects, and it is easy to see why specifying cladding and curtain walling is so critical and often sparks considerable debate.
